When it comes to travel, the last thing you want to pack into your bank account is overseas fees.

@Taramilktea is an instafamous traveller and blogger who spends most of her time abroad exploring the world. So, when we told her about the HSBC Everyday Global Account having no overseas ATM or transaction fees and up to 10 currencies on one card, she jumped at the opportunity to try it out.

I’m so excited to share more details about my collaboration with HSBC. You might have seen my Instagram post about banking with them, but here is the full low-down. A few months ago, HSBC approached me to open an Everyday Global Account with them that is perfect for travellers. An account which has no overseas fees, and no ATM withdrawal costs. Sounds too good to be true, right? It also uses online, real time currency exchange rates, with online, mobile, & phone banking available at your fingertips 24/7.

In the past, I’ve used accounts that charge a small percentage on transactions. It doesn’t sound like much, but when you’re constantly on the go, those account keeping fees, conversion fees, and withdrawal fees really add up to more than just a few dollars. I’ve found myself saving hundreds so far thanks to my new account, and it’s only been a few months!

I’ve been using this card in so many destinations, from Canada, to Spain, to New Zealand. At the moment, they have ten currencies you can use whilst overseas:
Australian Dollars (AUD$) - Control Currency
United States Dollars (USD$)
Great Britain Pound Sterling (GBP£)
Euro (EUR€)
Hong Kong Dollars (HKD$)
Canadian Dollars (CAD$)
Japanese Yen (JPY)
New Zealand Dollars (NZD$)
Singapore Dollars (SGD$)
Renminbi (RMB¥) (currency restrictions apply)

Peep at some pics below of a little mountainside picnic I picked up while we were in New Zealand. I use it for literally everything, from our overseas grocery hauls, to road trip petrol, to paying for hotels, to online shopping! And to not have to worry about those pesky overseas fees really makes it one less thing to think about!

P.S. This is for my Australian-based readers. Apologies if you’re reading this incredible deal and can’t sign up. I guess we’re the lucky ones!

This is a paid partnership with HSBC Australia, however all words and thoughts are my own.
